ABOUT US Unlimited Visions Aftercare, Inc. (Unlimited Visions Aftercare) is a private, non-profit corporation. Unlimited Visions Aftercare was incorporated in 1996 by Marilyn Jones as an adult substance abuse treatment program located in South Houston. In 1998, in response to the number of referrals and growing needed, Unlimited Visions Aftercare expanded its’ programs to include youth, criminal justice clients, and CPS clients. We also opened an office in Baytown the same year to provide outpatient services. Since 1998 Unlimited Visions Aftercare has continued to grow, we remain located in Baytown and South Houston, but have expanded our services in include specialized programs for youth, collegiate programs, addicted professionals program and criminal justice diversion programs. Beginning in 2004, in response to the record number of homeless persons referred for services, we began planning a mobile treatment program and have implemented a portion of it, with timeline to implement the remaining components in January 2006. Unlimited Visions Aftercare operates locations 12 hours a day, six days per week. Outpatient services are available Monday-Friday 9:00am to 9:00pm and Saturday and Sunday 9:00am-12:00pm. Unlimited Visions aftercare currently receives funding from the Texas Department of State Health Services, HCCSD TAIP Program, TDCJ, Private insurance and self-payers. We also receive a small grant from the United Way of Baytown. Unlimited Visions Aftercare has been providing substance abuse treatment services to the indigent and involuntary clients for ten (11) years. We serve an average of 500 outpatient clients per year. Our outcome measures are higher than the national and state averages and we utilize research based curriculum with a proven effectiveness. All of our sites are located on the Metro bus line. The facility is fully licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services. Unlimited Visions Aftercare employs a multidisciplanry team of licensed therapist including Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors, Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists and Licensed Clinical Social Workers. |
